Batman, and The Transfer Group (Suzan Fairchild, Artistic Producer), presents the Los Angeles premiere of the all-new, reimagined, environmental and completely immersive theater production of the legendary musical CARRIE THE MUSICAL. Director Brady Schwind opened up about the new production in a recent interview with LA Weekly. He revealed: 'Someone in the show I was doing at the time had a bootleg audio of it. And I listened to it and fell in love with the music. It seemed so exciting, that I think, for a young person, your mind starts thinking about, 'Oh, what would I ever do if I ever staged this show, or if I ever had the chance to work on it?'

Last week we introduced you to Emily Lopez, soon to be playing Carrie in the revival of CARRIE THE MUSICAL at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts. Today we meet Misty Cotton, the other powerhouse actor who will be leading the cast as the mother of all mothers, Margaret White. A day off from rehearsals gave Misty a chance to catch her breath and tell us a little about her road to CARRIE and what it's like stepping into this iconic role.

One of the most highly anticipated productions in LA is the upcoming revival of CARRIE THE MUSICAL opening March 18 at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts. Coeurage Theatre Company, LA's 'Pay What You Want' Company, has announced the final production of its 2013 season, Shakespeare'sLove's Labour's Lost, directed by Ted Barton.
