Yesterday, Broadway Across America - Houston's production of CHICAGO loaded into the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts. Now, the cast is ready to paint Houston red, shimmy-shake until their garters break, and give us all that jazz. I spoke with Brent Barrett, who plays CHICAGO's glib Billy Flynn and was last seen in Houston as Captain Hook in the national tour of PETER PAN, about his career and this production of CHICAGO.

It's a big bright beautiful world for Andrew Di Rosa, the Picking actor who played Shrek in the Lower Ossington Theater's production of SHREK THE MUSICAL this fall. Di Rosa previously starred in the companys production of ALTAR BOYZ, and will be seen in the feature film thriller Fragile Minds in 2014. Burger 21 , a new better burger franchise founded by the owners of The Melting Pot Restaurants, Inc., today announced plans to develop one restaurant in Pompano Beach, Fla., and one in Tempe, Ariz. Dan Lenhauser, who recently became Burger 21's first Arizona franchisee, has signed an additional agreement to develop a second restaurant in the Phoenix market, while new franchisees will develop a location in South Florida. To date, Burger 21 has nine open locations and 18 franchised restaurants in development across the country.
