South Coast Repertory today announced the cast and creative team for The Heiress, the psychological drama of love, innocence and betrayal by Ruth Goetz and Augustus Goetz.

he New York Musical Theatre Festival, Laura Brandel and Patrice Miller have announced Broadway and R&B star Billy Porter to direct a cast that includes Tony-Award Winner Chuck Cooper (The Life, Caroline or Change), Natalie Venetia Belcon (Avenue Q, The Glorious Ones, TV's Johnny and the Sprites) and Adam Halpin (Glory Days) in the world premiere musical Twilight in Manchego. The show, with music, lyrics and book by Jonathan Larson Award Winner Matt Gould, will play six performances at the ATA Theater (314 W. 54th Street) September 25th - October 4th, 2007.

Arena Stage welcomes Josh Kornbluth, writer/performer of Red Diaper Baby and Love & Taxes, in his hilarious and provocative one-man show Citizen Josh. A Jonathan Reinis Production, Citizen Josh is written and performed by Kornbluth in collaboration with Arena's Associate Artistic Director David Dower.

Today Tony Taccone, artistic director of Berkeley Repertory Theatre, announced additional dates for two solo shows that he staged in Berkeley before launching them on tours across the continent. Danny Hoch's Taking Over had its world premiere at Berkeley Rep in January and hit it big in Montreal this July; next week it starts an All City Tour featuring free performances in Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx in addition to previously announced dates in Manhattan and Los Angeles. Moreover, after a record-breaking run in Berkeley last winter, Carrie Fisher's Wishful Drinking careened through Hartford, San Jose, Santa Fe, and Washington, DC this summer; now it adds Seattle to a list of upcoming destinations that also includes Boston.

The Huntington Theatre Company opens its season at the Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA with Academy Award-nominated Jose Rivera's Boleros for the Disenchanted. Directed by OBIE Award-winning Chay Yew, the production runs October 10 - November 15, 2008.

On Tuesday September 23rd, 2008 the 'First Annual Hitchcock Look-a-Like Contest' took place on stage at the Cort Theatre, home of 'The 39 Steps'. The event was part of the month long celebration of Hitchcock Month.

IGNITED STATES PRODUCTION COMPANY is pleased to announce the New York premiere production of TO BARCELONA!, written by Michael Niederman, and directed by Elyzabeth Gorman. Jeffrey Kuhn and Francesca Faridany will join the cast of Alfred Hitchcock's THE 39 STEPS on Tuesday, October 28. Kuhn will play the role of Man #1 and Faridany will play the roles of Annabella Schmidt, Margaret and Pamela. Current cast members Jennifer Ferrin and Cliff Saunders will play their final performances on Sunday, October 26. Alfred Hitchcock's THE 39 STEPS, winner of two Tony Awards, two Drama Desk Awards and the 2007 Olivier Award for Best New Comedy, will celebrate its 100th performance at the Cort Theatre tomorrow evening, Saturday, August 2. The critically acclaimed Broadway production originally opened on January 15, 2008 at Roundabout Theatre Company's American Airlines Theatre, where it played through March 29. The show moved to the Cort on April 29 and officially reopened on May 8.
