White, Easton, Ivey Poised for 2008 Williamstown Theatre Fest

Nicholas Martin today announced the programming for Williamstown Theatre Festival's (WTF) 54th Season, the first under his aegis as Artistic Director. Collaborators include David Ives, Michael Greif, Scott Ellis, Theresa Rebeck, and Julie White.

'Project Ghostlight' a Green-Light at Boston University

Project Ghostlight, a potential new documentary/reality series, shoots its pilot episode next week at The Boston University Theatre (The Huntington Theatre Company in residence). The show is a journey into the world of America's oldest, and sometimes forgotten, theatrical past. The aim: to bring to light the amazing stories locked inside America's majestic theaters and explore some of the phenomenal tales and experiences of the past and present.

Hurrice Hits The Flea in 'Lower Ninth' with Charles, McDaniel; Begins 2/14

The Flea Theater presents the World Premiere of Lower Ninth, a new play inspired by the effects of Hurricane Katrina. Written by Beau Willimon, this new drama will be directed by Daniel Goldstein, and will feature Gaius Charles, James McDaniel and Gbenga Akkinagbe. Performances begin February 14 with opening night scheduled for Thursday, February 28.

Nicholas Martin is New Williamstown Fest Artistic Director

Nicholas Martin has been named Artistic Director of the Williamstown Theatre Festival (WTF), effective November 1, 2007, it was announced by WTF Board President Matt Harris. After a successful and productive three year tenure as the Artistic Director of the WTF, Roger Rees will step down to move on to other opportunities.

Edwards & Cast Announced for Roundabout's 'The 39 Steps'

The 39 Steps will have its Broadway premiere at Roundabout Theatre Company's American Airlines Theatre, with previews beginning January 4, 2008 and opening night January 10, 2008. The Broadway cast will be led by Charles Edwards who reprises the role of Richard Hannay which he played to great acclaim in the London production. Edwards is joined by Arnie Burton (Clown), Jennifer Ferrin (Pamela/Margaret) and Cliff Saunders (Clown). The limited engagement will play through March 16.

'39 Steps' Delivers 100s of Laughs

Roundabout Theatre Company presents the Olivier Award winning, New York premiere of Alfred Hitchcock's The 39 Steps to begin Broadway previews December 28; opening January 10, 2008 at the American Airlines Theatre. The limited engagement will play through March 16.

MTC Announces Productions for 2007-2008 Season
