Writers' Theatre Artistic Director Michael Halberstam and Executive Director Kathryn M. Lipuma announce the company's 20th Anniversary Season, which includes The Real Thing by Tom Stoppard, directed by Artistic Director Michael Halberstam; Harold Pinter's The Caretaker, directed by Ron OJ Parson; Hesperia by Randall Colburn, directed by Associate Artistic Director Stuart Carden; and A Little Night Music, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by Hugh Wheeler, directed by William Brown. Writers' also presents a limited engagement of Robert Hewett's The Blonde, the Brunette and the Vengeful Redhead, currently available only to Writers' Theatre Subscribers and Members.
The Theatre Department at Kean University presents the Stephen Sondheim / Hugh Wheeler musical, Sweeny Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street on February 25 through March 5 in the Zella Fry Theatre on the Union, NJ campus.
The Fulton Theatre has announced the casting for its upcoming production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, the popular musical by Stephen Sondheim, which will be directed and choreographed by the Fulton's Artistic Director, Marc Robin with music direction by Ray Fellman.
