Today, Hilton Worldwide and Vital Voices Global Partnership announced that they have joined forces to help end child trafficking. Together, they have launched the Global Freedom Exchange, an innovative, multi-faceted educational and mentoring program targeting emerging and established women leaders. Program participants are on the forefront of global efforts to prevent and respond to the crime of child trafficking. Global Freedom Exchange is intended to create an international network of activists.

Officials today celebrated Little Rock's newest Marriott Hotels & Resorts property, the 418-room Little Rock Marriott in downtown Little Rock, Ark. To commemorate the event, the hotel hosted a special ribbon cutting ceremony with community and business leaders. The hotel, operated by Davidson Hotels & Resorts and owned by an affiliate of Fairwood Capital, will undergo a multi-million dollar renovation of all guest rooms and public spaces starting in early 2014.

Piano Bar Legend Jerry Scott Passes Away at 67

Jerry Scott, the extraordinary Manhattan entertainer whose stellar renditions of every genre of music from show tunes to standards to pop to operetta to ragtime, fired up audiences for over 40 years in Manhattan, died peacefully at 1:00 a.m. on April 4 at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx after a valiant struggle with cancer. He was 67 years old and lived on the upper east side of Manhattan.
