Atlantic Theater Company has announced commissions of six new plays by Jocelyn Bioh, Jennifer Haley, Paola Lazaro, Qui Nguyen, Heidi Schreck, and Simon Stephens and Mark Eitzel.
The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts today announced it will present Shakespeare's Globe's critically acclaimed production of Shakespeare's THE MERCHANT OF VENICE in five performances from July 27 - 30, 2016 in the Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater.
In 2016 Everyman & Playhouse will stage a new adaptation of Madame Bovary with Peepolykus at the Everyman, while at the Playhouse there will be a major revival of Frank McGuinness's Observe the Sons of Ulster Marching Towards the Somme.

The Broadway runs of WOLF HALL: PARTS 1 & 2 officially come to an end this weekend. Based on the novels by Booker Prize-winner Hilary Mantel, WOLF HALL ends its 15-week engagement today, July 5, 2015, at the Winter Garden Theatre. John Boyne's highly acclaimed and best-selling international novel The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas will visit Coventry's Belgrade Theatre from Tues 16 - Sat 20 June as part of a major new U.K tour.
