Comedy duo Ben Viele & Alexander Rodriguez bring their hit radio show 'Happy Hour with Ben & Alexander' on Universal Broadcasting Network (www.ubnradio.com/HappyHour) to the stage at Don't Tell Mama in West Hollywood. Part Johnny Carson, part Chelsea Handler, part Judy Garland - this will be an evening of entertainment with music, dance, comedy and magic (and lots of drinks). Show begins at 8 pm with social hour prior.

SAG-AFTRA presented its coveted Actor® statuette for the outstanding motion picture and primetime television performances of 2013 at the "20th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards®" in ceremonies attended by film and television's leading actors, held Saturday, Jan. 18, at the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center. The "20th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards®" was simulcast live coast-to-coast by TNT and TBS at 8 p.m. (ET) / 5 p.m. (PT). A live stream of the SAG Awards® was also available for viewing online at sagawards.tntdrama.com and tbs.com, as well as through the Watch TBS and Watch TNT apps for iOS or Android. An encore presentation was telecast on TNT at 10 p.m. (ET)/7 p.m. (PT).

Writers Theatre opens its 8th annual tour of The MLK Project: The Fight for Civil Rights, written by Yolanda Androzzo, directed by Jimmy McDermott and featuring Caren Blackmore. A special Martin Luther King, Jr. Day public performance will take place at 10am on January 20 at the Chicago History Museum, 1601 N Clark Street in Chicago.

Jesse Cook, the Juno Award-winning Canadian guitar phenomenon who is one of the most influential figures in world string music, returns to Minneapolis with his smoldering on-stage charisma for an intimate performance at the Pantages Theatre at 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2014. Cook defines his musical style as a fusion of flamenco and jazz improvisation and his work has been featured on “Sex and the City,” “The Chris Isaak Show” and several Olympic Games. He and his band will perform material from his fiery, upbeat repertoire and songs from his latest more melodic and moody release, “The Blue Guitar Sessions.” Joining Cook on stage are musicians Chris Church, Rosendo “Chendy” Leon, Nicholas Hernandez and Dennis Mohammed. Peter and the Starcatcher sets sail today and will play its final performance at New World Stages today, Sunday, January 12, 2014, after almost two years, five Tony Awards, and 645 performances (both on Broadway and at New World Stages). Written by Tony Award nominee Rick Elice and directed by Tony Award-winner Roger Rees and Tony Award-nominee Alex Timbers, Peter and the Starcatcher opened on Broadway on April 15, 2012 and ran until January 20, 2013, before beginning performances at New World Stages (340 West 50th St.) on Monday, March 18, 2013.
Lookingglass Extends THE LITTLE PRINCE Through 3/16

Lookingglass Theatre Company announces a second extension of The Little Prince, produced in association with The Actors Gymnasium, by Rick Cummins and John Scoullar, based on the book by Antoine de Saint-Exupery, and directed by Ensemble Member David Catlin. The show now runs through Sunday, March 16, 2014 due to overwhelming demand. The three-week extension goes on sale to the public on Tuesday, January 14. The Little Prince runs at Lookingglass Theatre Company, located inside Chicago's historic Water Tower Water Works, 821 N. Michigan Ave. at Pearson.
