Saatchi Gallery to Open BODY LANGUAGE Exhibition, 11/20

London UK – On 20th November, the Saatchi Gallery will open Body Language, an exhibition featuring 19 emerging international artists who, across a range of media, explore the physical body and present a variety of reflections on the human form.

The Frist Center Opens 30 AMERICANS Exhibition Today

The Frist Center for the Visual Arts will present 30 Americans, an exhibition surveying works by many of the nation's leading African American artists working since the mid-1970s. Often provocative and challenging, the exhibition explores how artists relate their own sense of self to ideas within history, popular culture and contemporary mass media central to American society. 30 Americans will be on view in the Center's Ingram Gallery from today, Oct. 11, 2013 through Jan. 12, 2014.

Peter Eleey named Curator and Associate Director of Exhibitions and Programs at MoMA PS1

Klaus Biesenbach, Director of MoMA PS1 and Chief Curator at Large at The Museum of Modern Art, announced today that Peter Eleey has been named Curator and Associate Director of Exhibitions and Programs at MoMA PS1. In this role, Eleey will continue to serve as the museum's lead curator, while also working closely with Mr. Biesenbach to expand the institution's exhibitions and programs and to build its overall capacity in partnership with colleagues at The Museum of Modern Art.

Stratford Shakespeare Festival to Host Shakespeare Symposium, 6/2

The Festival celebrates 60 years of excellence with a special symposium that will feature influential theatre artists and intellectuals in discussion about how Shakespeare's work lends itself to a broad range of media, interpretations and settings. The event will be held at the Studio Theatre on June 2.

MoMA PS1 Presents Henry Taylor, Opens 1/29

MoMA PS1 will present a major solo exhibition of artist Henry Taylor (American, b. 1958), bringing together more than 70 works by the Los Angeles-based artist. Organized by Peter Eleey, Curator of MoMA PS1 and Laura Hoptman, Curator in the Department of Painting and Sculpture at The Museum of Modern Art, Henry Taylor will open on January 29 and remain on view through April 9, 2012.

Colm Feore to Star in Straford Shakespeare Festival's 'Macbeth' and 'Cyrano'

Celebrated stage and screen actor Colm Feore will return to the Stratford Shakespeare Festival in 2009 to play two leading roles on the Festival stage, Macbeth and Cyrano de Bergerac. 'William Shakespeare's Macbeth involves a journey for the theatre artist that may well be the darkest ride of them all. It leads into a black hole of terror and meaninglessness, and it is not for the faint of heart,' says artistic director Des McAnuff, who will be directing the play.
