Working Title Films has commenced production on Joe Wright's epic love story Anna Karenina, adapted from Leo Tolstoy's classic novel by Academy Award winner Tom Stoppard (Shakespeare in Love). The film will shoot in the U.K. and Russia. Focus Features will distribute the movie domestically, and Universal Pictures International (UPI) will distribute the movie internationally.

National Theatre Live (NT Live) will launch its third season on NCM network screens with One Man, Two Guvnors on Thursday, October 20, followed by The Kitchen on Thursday, November 3; Collaborators on Thursday, December 1; and The Comedy of Errors on Thursday, March 1, with additional titles in 2012 to be announced soon. All events will begin at 7:00 p.m. local time. Presented by NT Live, BY Experience and Fathom, the four-part in-theater series will be broadcast to more than 130 additional U.S. movie theaters nationwide through NCM's exclusive Digital Broadcast Network.

Tony and Emmy Award-winning actor David Hyde Pierce has been cast in the Vineyard Theatre's Developmental Lab Production of THE LANDING (previously titled 'Andra') -- a collection of three related one-act musicals written by the celebrated composer John Kander and his new collaborator, Greg Pierce - to be directed by Scott Ellis, with David Loud as musical director, it has been announced by artistic director Douglas Aibel and co-artistic director Sarah Stern.
