Newly Transformed Camden People's Theatre Announces Homecoming Autumn Season

Major events include the premiere of Matty May and Daisy Hale's CPT commission (originally developed in collaboration with Scottee) If you love me, this might hurt – an extraordinary solo show from a queer working-class perspective, addressing rage, suicide and so-called self-care. Elsewhere, highlights include Tom Ryalls' Education, Education, Karaoke (23rd – 27th November) which tears into the inequalities rife in state education via pop songs and a karaoke machine.

Theatre Deli Announce THE GREAT BRITISH F*CK OFF FESTIVAL

As a response to Brexit, Theatre Deli have announced a festival of work celebrating European artists and their contribution to the UK's cultural landscape, in addition to new theatre, dance and technology shows that will question the power of democracy and politics. Photo Flash: First Look at THE UNKNOWN ISLAND at the Gate Theatre

Ellen McDougall's inaugural production of Artistic Director of Gate Theatre will be The Unknown Island. She directs Jon Foster, Hannah Ringham, Thalissa Teixera and Zubin Varla in the adaptation of Nobel Prize winner Jose Saramago's short story, which is currently in previews for an opening on 18 September and runs until 7 October 2017. Full Cast Announced For Ellen McDougall's Inaugural Production As Artistic Director THE UNKNOWN ISLAND at Gate Theatre

Ellen McDougall today announced the full cast for The Unknown Island, her inaugural production of Artistic Director of Gate Theatre.  She directs Jon Foster, Hannah Ringham, Thalissa Teixera and Zubin Varla in the adaptation of Nobel Prize winner Jose Saramago's short story which opens on 18 September, with previews from 11 September, running until 7 October.

Islands at the Bush Theatre is both written by and stars Caroline Horton as the grotesque character Mary, a self-proclaimed god who lives in Haven with her two very camp assistants Swill (Seiriol Davies) and Agent (John Biddle). Floating safely 30 feet in the air above Shitworld, the inhabitants are free to make their own rules as they look down on the citizens below them through a drain in the floor.

Following successful runs at Ovalhouse and Forest Fringe, Christopher Brett Bailey - author of award-winning 'punk-opera' The Inconsiderate Aberrations of Billy the Kid and performer with Made In China - brings his first solo show to Battersea Arts Centre and The Marlborough. A savage, surreal, and apocalyptic blend of spoken word, storytelling, caustic humour and gutter philosophy with echoes of Lenny Bruce, William Burroughs, beat poetry and B-movies.
