Tony Award-winning actress and Raleigh native, Beth Leavel, stars as 'M'Lynn' in North Carolina Theatre's production of Steel Magnolias. The play ends its run tonight, April 29, in A.J. Fletcher Theater at the Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Raleigh.

The recently restored interior is obscured by shadows and the only light comes from the merciless worklights over the stage which only partially illuminate the two performers beneath them. Yet, even through these shadows, the admirable skills of two Broadway veterans are evident as they recreate their roles in WEST SIDE STORY.
