The RSC announces today that it will publish music and speeches from its forthcoming production of Richard II on a new CD and for download from iTunes. The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) in collaboration with Picturehouse Entertainment just announced that Gregory Doran's production of William Shakespeare's RICHARD II with David Tennant will be the first broadcast of 'Live from Stratford-upon-Avon,' a program that will screen the RSC's productions from Shakespeare's home town around the world. Limited screenings will take place between December 3 2013 and January 2, 2014 in cities across the United States. Canadian dates and cities will be announced next week. The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) announced today that it is collaborating with Picturehouse Entertainment on 'Live from Stratford-upon-Avon', a new programme to screen its productions live from Shakespeare's home town, and will work with Ravensbourne College to stream the production straight to UK schools.
People all over the world will be able to join the Royal Shakespeare Company and Google live in Stratford-upon-Avon and online, as they present a one-off digital theatre project, Midsummer Night's Dreaming. This creative experiment will take place over Midsummer weekend, 21 -24 June 2013 and will explore different ways to make and watch theatre.
