The producers of Peter and the Starcatcher, the new Broadway hit written by Tony® Award-nominee Rick Elice (Jersey Boys) and directed by Tony® Award-winner Roger Rees (Nicholas Nickleby) and Tony® Award-nominee Alex Timbers (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, The Pee-wee Herman Show), have announced that a new block of tickets are now on sale for the season's most Tony-nominated play. Tickets can now be purchased through September 30, 2012, via Ticketmaster and in person at the box office of the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47 Street).

The Active Theater (Nathaniel Shaw, Artistic Director), now in its fourth year, presents its final production for the 2011-2012 season, the world premiere of Jennie Contuzzi's BODY LANGUAGE. Directed by Nathaniel Shaw, the play opens tonight, Thursday, May 31st at The Workshop Theater (312 W. 36th Street). BODY LANGUAGE runs through June 10th.

Producers Nancy Nagel Gibbs, Greg Schaffert, Eva Price and Tom Smedes announced today that Rick Elice's new play, Peter and the Starcatcher, will embark on a national tour, opening in August 2013 at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in Denver, CO. The play's Tony Award-nominated directors, Roger Rees and Alex Timbers, will direct the touring production, which will be represented by The Road Company.

Christian Borle, a Lucille Lortel winner last year for his performance (and star of NBC's "Smash"), will return as 'Black Stache'; Adam Chanler-Berat (Next to Normal), who recently departed the Off Broadway production of Rent, returns as 'Boy'; and Drama Desk Award-winner Celia Keenan-Bolger (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) will reprise her role as 'Molly,' the titular Starcatcher. Peter and the Starcatcher will begin preview performances on Broadway at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre this Spring, and with off-Broadway cast memeber Christian Borle currently starring in NBC's SMASH, many have been wondering whether he will take part in the Broadway transfer. Now the New York Times has confirmed that Borle will reprise his role as Black Stache in the production.
