Due to an overwhelming positive response from critics and audiences alike, Berkeley Rep has announced that the west coast premiere of the Pulitzer Prize- winning play, Disgraced will extend for an additional week. Originally scheduled to close on December 20, the critically acclaimed play will run through Sunday, December 27.

American Theater Company (ATC) continues its Legacy Season with the world premiere of Bruise Easy by Dan LeFranc, a writer on Showtime's 2015 Golden Globe-winning drama The Affair and playwright of ATC's blockbuster world premiere The Big Meal-which went on to an extended off-Broadway run at Playwrights Horizons.

'Well, hang on to your snap-brim fedora: Ms. Zimmerman's fetching revival is as good as any production I've ever seen of the greatest of all the golden-age musicals,' proclaimed the Wall Street Journal when Oregon Shakespeare Festival staged the Broadway musical classic Guys & Dolls earlier this year at its Ashland, Oregon-based theatre. Now, for a limited run, the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts will present this production for the holidays in the Bram Goldsmith Theater for 24 performances beginning Dec 1 and running through Dec 20.

La Jolla Playhouse, nationally-renowned for its development of new work, has announced four world-premiere productions for the 2016/2017 season, including works by Tony Award winner Joe DiPietro, Pulitzer Prize winners Quiara Alegria Hudes and Ayad Akhtar, and 2014 Barrie and Bernice Stavis Playwriting Award winner Jeff Augustin.

MCC Theater announced today the extension -- by popular demand -- of its hit comedy, John Pollono's LOST GIRLS, starring Golden Globe nominee Piper Perabo, through Friday, December 4th. It was previously scheduled through November 29th.
