DANCING WITH THE STARS: Week 6 Results Recap

DANCING WITH THE STARS' Motown tribute week featured new highs and lows in the competition, the newly invoked gladiator-esque dance-off included in the former. The results show featured performances by non-Motown artists - an odd choice - including Boyz II Men and Natasha Bedingfield. At the end of last night, Gladys Knight, the contestant with the most heart according to Len, was at the bottom of the leader board.

DANCING WITH THE STARS Steams up Motown

DANCING WITH THE STARS implemented new features into the competition to spice up another performance broadcast. For the first time in the show's history, contestants danced to the hits of Motown - while the original tracks' artists sang live. The Motown inspired special began with a montage of performances by the soulful legends: Smokey Robinson, Martha Reeves, and The Temptations. In additions, contestants this week also partook in a dance-off to rack up extra bonus points to be put towards their overall score.

DANCING WITH THE STARS' Latin Night Recap

After last week's shocking elimination of fan-favorite Sherri Shepherd, the DANCING competitors were widdled down to nine. Going into the halfway point of the competition, the remaining dancers and their partners were tasked with creating routines for the designated 'Latin Week.' The broadcast featured a performance by Santana, with sure-fire frontrunners emerging.

He's also been featured in CATS, CHICAGO, KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN, and played the title roles in both JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT and THE WHO'S TOMMY.

Fan-Favorite Sent Home on DANCING WITH THE STARS

DANCING WITH THE STARS welcomed Kiss back to the stage to closeout perhaps the most impressive week of performances, 'Rock Week.' It heralded new leaders in the competition, with Donald Driver and Maria Menounos receiving the highest marks by the judges. Disney star Roshon Fegan managed to climb his way to the top of the competition, clearing former DANCING starlet, Katherine Jenkins, fell to third place points-wise after an attempt to rile up some Welsh aggression. But what came in the last few seconds of the broadcast, the star eliminated this week, was even more surprising than the performances of last night.

DANCING WITH THE STARS Rock Week Recap

DANCING WITH THE STARS did away with the ball gowns, the glitz, and laid on the edge with leather costumes and daring make-up for designated 'Rock Week.' Featuring a performance by the titans of theatrics, Kiss, this week's performance show laid out the theme right from host Tom Bergeron's opening monologue. The typical DANCING broadcast this was not.

DANCING WITH THE STARS Announces New Voting System

DANCING WITH THE STARS Results Show Recap

Going into the second results show of the season, the verdict wasn't in the points. From the previous night's episode, in which competitors and their professional partners constructed a routine hinged around a personal experience, two things were clear: Katherine Jenkins and William Levy had managed to secure themselves at the top of the competition, their dances yielding the first 10s of the season, and the rest fell into a big 'ol rumba-samba-jivey lump in the middle with 24s and 25s. With performances by Seal and Rascal Flatts, it was anybody's guess as to who would depart the DANCING competition, and forfeit the trophy to another celeb.

DANCING WITH THE STARS Recap; First 10s of Season Awarded

Going into the third week of ABC's DANCING WITH THE STARS after the elimination of tennis pro Martina Navratilova, the remaining contestants were given a unique assignment: rather than choose between one form of dance or another, they and their partners were opened up to any style. The catch: to center it around a personal EVENT, in order to open themselves up to the audience and viewers at home. Previously, it was known to create memorable routines that revealed the competitors as individuals, people - rather than celebrities and pseudo-celebrities vying for a nationally televised prize. The judges, were once again, overly gracious with their compliments, the critiques dulled.
