George Lopez's multi-faceted career encompasses television, film, standup comedy, late-night television and now an exciting return to the Aces of Comedy series at The Mirage Hotel & Casino. Lopez will headline at the Terry Fator Theater Friday, March 23; Saturday, March 24; Friday, Aug. 31 and Saturday, Sept. 1.

TV Land has given the axe to two of its original series. LOPEZ, the comedy starring George Lopez, has been canceled after two seasons. The network's other late-night comedy, THROWING SHADE has also been canceled after one season. Their other original series NOBODIES, a comedy produced by Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone, will move to new Viacom venture Paramount Network, as reported by Deadline.

Producers Robert Driemeyer, Morgan Sills and Jan Warner have announced the New York Premiere of PARTY FACE, a new comedy by Isobel Mahon ( Glenroe, Fair City ) and directed by Amanda Bearse ( Married With Children ).

Putney and McGeever both nail the sitcom rhythms of their dialogue, Putney channeling Kristin Bell's frayed-around-the-edges perkiness while McGeever strongly recalls Jesse Tyler Ferguson's squirmy tragicomedy in cult classic The Class.
