According to Rolling Stone, Martin Scorsese is producing a documentary about legendary jam band the Grateful Dead. Amir Bar-Lev will direct the feature, which will celebrate the group's 50th anniversary and include archival footage from live performances, plus current interviews with the band and more.

Paul Simon has joined the week-long celebration of George Harrison on TBS's late-night show CONAN. The celebration, which begins tonight, also features previously announced performances of Harrison songs by Beck, Norah Jones, Dhani Harrison & Friends.

TBS's late-night show Conan is set to honor George Harrison with a week of performances by some of the biggest names in music.

Fifty years ago, the Beatles came to America.... and made their only Pittsburgh appearance at the Civic Arena on September 14, 1964. The debate between the Beatles and the Rolling Stones has been going on ever since they first crossed paths on the charts 50 years ago. The Hollywood Bowl hosted its 15th Annual Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame concert last night, June 21, featuring Hall of Fame inductees Emmy and Tony-winner Kristin Chenoweth, iconic all-female band The Go-Go's, and the eclectic band Pink Martini.
