The group will hold productions of Fiorello! on March 1st, Oklahoma!/Paint Your Wagon on March 8th, 'From On the Town to South Pacific' on March 15th, and The American Musicals Project Annual Gala Benefit's production of Show Boat on March 22nd.
Lynne Wintersteller & George Dvorsky, who are set to appear in Queen's Theatre in the Park's production of Closer Than Ever, will be the featured guests on Seth's Broadway Chatterbox tomorrow evening, Thursday, March 4 at 6pm. Seth's Broadway Chatterbox is a one hour weekly talk show at Don't Tell Mama (343 West 46th Street), hosted by Seth Rudetsky. The show is taped in front of a live audience and airs on BroadwayWorld.com Radio Mondays at 7pm, Wednesdays at 10pm and Sundays at noon.

A memorial service has been set for American conductor and musical theatre archivist John McGlinn. The public service will take place at Merkin Hall (129 West 67th Street) at 2pm on McGlinn's birthday, September 18.

The Chicago engagement of the national tour of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang has been canceled. The show was originally scheduled to play The Chicago Theatre Feb. 11-15.
The tour's website announces that the engagement was canceled 'due to slower than expected local ticket sales.'
Any tickets that were ordered through Ticketmaster (by phone or on-line) will be credited to the purchaser's credit card account. Tickets purchased through Ticketmaster outlets or through The Chicago Theatre's box office must be returned to the original point of purchase.

On Tuesday, February 3, 2009, The Friends of North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) held a all star benefit concert on at Danversport Yacht Club, in Danvers, MA to help raise funds to keep the theatre open. The event has brought in $45,000 which will help keep the theatre operating over the few months and working towards the 4 million dollars needed to produce a 2009 Season. The Friends of North Shore Music Theatre is a volunteer committee of trustees, former employees, NSMT alumni and others.

The Friends of North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) have announced details for a rousing fundraising event to help save the region's legendary theater. The event, organized by a volunteer committee of trustees, former employees, NSMT alumni and parents, will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at Danversport Yacht Club, 161 Elliot Street in Danvers, MA at 6:30 pm.
The star-studded evening will be hosted by venerable NSMT actor David Coffee. Best known for his role as Scrooge in NSMT's production of A Christmas Carol, Coffee also played Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof, as well as countless other memorable roles at NSMT. Coffee will be joined by special guest George Dvorsky, star of A Christmas Carol, The Full Monty, Kiss Me, Kate, and many, many more NSMT productions. Dvorsky is currently starring in the First National Tour of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Also performing and lending their support during the evening will be many Boston area favorites who have performed at NSMT, including Peter S. Adams, Leigh Barrett, Maureen Brennan, Mary Callanan, Andrew Giordano, Cassandra Marsh, Cheryl McMahon, Robert Saoud, and Kathy St. George. The NSMT Orchestra led by Jay Daly will also perform, in addition to NSMT's Youth Performance Academy's Rising Stars.
Ring in the holiday season as you sing along with your favorite songs and carols during A FESTIVAL OF MUSIC at North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT)! This special holiday concert?with a Broadway and Hollywood flair?will take place on Tuesday, December 2 at 7:30pm. It will feature performances by NSMT audience favorite actors George Dvorsky and Maureen Brennan, The North Shore Philharmonic, the new NSMT Academy Performance Ensemble featuring students ages 14-18 years old, and more! The Signature Theatre concluded their production of ACE on Sunday, September 28th.
