The musicals are coming! Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival launches another highly anticipated season of 'Broadway in the Finger Lakes,' with a variety of regional premieres, Broadway classics, off-the-wall comedies, and the next generation of musical theater at three different theaters. The season opened on May 29 with 'Menopause The Musical' at MGR Downtown at the Auburn Public Theater in Auburn, New York. This hilarious musical is great for a ladies' night out and has kept millions of women laughing and celebrating the change.

The international hit show Menopause The Musical has recognized Providence, RI as a 'hot' national market and will play Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) for two performances only this weekend, May 30 at 7:30P and May 31 at 2P.

Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill, Lanie Robertson's play with music, starring five-time Tony Award-winner Audra McDonald, will be recorded live at Circle in the Square during a regularly scheduled performance during the week of May 27-31by PS Classics. The 80th Annual Drama League Awards Ceremony and Luncheon is being held this afternoon, May 16, at the Marriott Marquis Times Square, where winners will be announced for Distinguished Production of a Play, Distinguished Production of a Musical, Distinguished Revival of a Play, Distinguished Revival of a Musical, and the much coveted Distinguished Performance Award. Set in a department store, four women with seemingly nothing in common meet by chance at a lingerie sale, but a sisterhood is soon created between these diverse women as they realize that menopause is no longer 'The Silent Passage.' The all-female cast makes fun of their woeful hot flashes, forgetfulness, mood swings, wrinkles, night sweats, and chocolate binges in this laughter-filled, 90-minute musical parody set to classic tunes from the '60s, '70s and '80s.

The Glass Menagerie starts off the New Year with some good news! Producers Jeffrey Richards, John N. Hart Jr. and Jerry Frankel, in association with the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.), are pleased to announce that the limited engagement of the critically-acclaimed revival of the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) production of The Glass Menagerie at the Booth Theatre (222 W 45th Street) has recouped its $2.6 million investment. The production, which began performances on Thursday, September 5, 2013, and officially opened on Thursday, September 26, 2013, will play its final performance on Sunday, February 23, 2014.
