MOSES, THE AUTHOR to Play FringeNYC, 8/8-24

MOSES, THE AUTHOR, a world premiere comedy by Andrew R. Heinze, will be presented as part of the 18th Annual New York International Fringe Festival - FringeNYC, held this year from August 8th - 24th. Directed by Drama Desk Award-winner Amy Wright, MOSES, THE AUTHOR will play five performances at 'Fringe Venue #17,' The Players Theatre (115 MacDougal) - on Sunday, 8/10 at 2:15pm; Wednesday, 8/13 at 9:45pm; Sat, 8/20 at 2pm; Thursday, 8/21 at 9pm; and Saturday, 8/23 at 9:15pm. OBJECT OF HER AFFECTION Runs this Weekend at Automata

Part puppetry, part performance art, Marsian De Lellis' Object of Her Affection is a visual narrative about Object Sexuals - humans who form intimate relationships with inanimate objects. Bruce Coughlin, Michael Starobin, Mel Marvin and Michael John LaChuisa to Lead O'Neill Orchestration Symposium, 7/3

Paulette Haupt, Artistic Director of the National Music Theater Conference at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, will conduct a public symposium on orchestrating musical theater in today's world on Thursday, July 3 at 1:00pm. The Orchestration Symposium comes as the summer conference continues its focus on exploration and role of orchestration and arranging in the development of new work.

Henson Puppetry Legacy to be Commemorated at Eugene O'Neill Theater Center

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center has announced the naming of the Jim & JaneHenson Rehearsal Hall, honoring a lifetime of commitment to the O'Neill's National Puppetry Conference and the advancement of puppetry around the world, and due to underwriting support from their daughters, O'Neill Trustee Heather Henson and her sister Cheryl Henson.

New Repertory Theatre announces PATTERN OF LIFE by Walt McGough, June 14 through June 29, 2014 at the Boston University Theatre, Lane-Comley Studio 210. PATTERN OF LIFE is co- presented with Boston Center for American Performance (BCAP) and is directed by Bridget Kathleen O'Leary.

Josh Radnor Joins 'THE O'NEILL SINCE 1964' Panel at New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, 6/19

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center announces actor/writer/director Josh Radnor will participate in a discussion about his time at the O'Neill's National Theater Institute at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts Bruno Walter Auditorium on June 19, 2014. Radnor will join O'Neill alumnus and faculty member Donna Dinovelli (NTI Faculty, librettist and lyricist for opera and musical theater works, Radnor's playwriting instructor) and Moderator Rachel Jett (NTI Artistic Director, teacher, writer, actor, director). Panelists will share memories about how their participation with the National Theater Institute's semester-long, credit-earning training intensives have shaped their career and craft. The event is free and open to the public.

New York Public Library for the Performing Arts Celebrates the O'Neill's 50 Years with Talkback Series, Beg. Today

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, in partnership with The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, presents a series of conversation to coincide with the Library's public exhibition on the O'Neill, 'Launchpad of the American Theater: The O'Neill since 1964.' The three programs -- today, May 29, June 19, and August 7 -- are held in The Library for the Performing Arts' Bruno Walter Auditorium and are free and open to the public.
