The Old Globe today announced the cast and creative team for the World Premiere of A Room with a View, a new musical based on the novel by E.M. Forster with book by Marc Acito, music and lyrics by Jeffrey Stock and additional lyrics by Acito. With direction by Scott Schwartz and music direction by Boko Suzuki, A Room with a View will run March 2 - April 8, 2012 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run March 2 - March 9. Opening night is Saturday, March 10 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are currently available by subscription only. Single tickets will go on sale on Sunday, Jan. 29 at 12:00 noon. Shaina Taub celebrates the release of her debut EP with a concert at Rockwood Music Hall's Stage Two on Monday August 29th at 8 PM, featuring a ten-piece band of musicians and vocalists in an evening of all original music.

THE PUSHING DAISY PROJECT is pleased to present the world premiere reading of PUSHING DAISY, written by Lauren Epsenhart and directed by Luis Salgado, as part of the 2nd Annual Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. The reading will take place June 23rd at 2pm at the Gene Frankel Theatre (24 Bond Street) in New York City.

Blake as Fiyero, Etai BenShlomo as Boq, Jenny Fellner as Nessarose, and Tom Flynn as Dr. Dillamond.

WICKED will honor the Actors Fund with a special, added performance on Sunday, April 3 at 8pm at the Gershwin Theatre. All procedes will go to benefit The Actor's Fund's programs and services. The Actors Fund is a nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment. The Fund is a safety net, providing programs and services for those who are in need, crisis or transition.

Teal Wicks began performances in the role of Elphaba in the Broadway company of WICKED on February 1, 2011. Ms. Wicks is making her Broadway debut after playing the role of Elphaba in both the San Francisco and Los Angeles productions of WICKED.

Broadway cast members will perform at a benefit for the children of PS 166 - The Richard Rodgers School - on Monday, February 7th, at 7pm in the school's auditorium.

Current Elphaba, Mandy Gonzalez plays her final performance today in WICKED at the 3pm matinee. She joined the show back on March 23, 2010.

ABC President Paul Lee spoke with reporters in more detail about the announced WICKED miniseries. 'It's epic, it's romantic, and it's very much within our brand,' he said. 'We're in the development stage. I don't know if we're going to get there, but the notion of having it resonate elsewhere in the company [is] a very good thing for us.'
