York Little Theatre will present the rock opera, Tommy, July 17 - 26, 2009. Written by The Who's Pete Towshend and Des McAnuff, Tommy first premiered on Broadway in April of 1993 and ran for 899 performances. It won 5 Tony awards including Best Original Score, and 6 Drama Desk Awards including Outstanding Orchestrations.
This Summer, the Royal Albert Hall opens its doors for its edgiest and most unique exhibition yet - LOAD. For the first time ever, artists commissioned by the Royal Albert Hall in partnership with creative pioneers Daydream Network, will turn the walls of the historic venue's Loading Bay into a gallery of graffiti and street artwork. On Monday 22 June, and for one day only, the Royal Albert Hall's Loading Bay, located three floors underground, will be open free to the public to view this remarkable display.

Bobby Bandiera's 'Rock and Soul Revue' will be held on July 1st at 8 pm at the Axelrod Performing Arts Center, 100 Grant Avenue, Deal Park, NJ. A longtime fixture of the Jersey Shore sound, Bandiera's appearances with local legends Cats on a Smooth Surface date back to the early 1980s and clubs such as The Stone Pony, when Bruce Springsteen would jump onstage with them on Sunday nights.

Producer David Shor has announced he is developing Sleepless in Seattle-The Musical through his entity Sleepless in Seattle Management, LLC. Shor acquired the rights to produce a play based on the hit TriStar motion picture and has brought in his longtime partner Jeff Arch, who penned the film's original story and co-wrote the screenplay, sharing 1994 Oscar, BAFTA and WGA nominations with Nora Ephron and David Ward. Arch will write the book for the show.
