Returning as special guests for this performance will be Metropolitan Opera soprano Janinah Burnett and Broadway and nightclub Raun Ruffin star, who appeared in The Civil War. Reed will also perform at The Metropolitan Room on June 17 and July 21, backed by a four-piece band led by Billy McDaniel. The evening includes unique arrangements of classic standards by Duke Ellington, Rodgers & Hart, Cole Porter and George Gershwin in a dazzling blend of pop, jazz, soul and R&B.

?New York Cabaret Artist, Solo Performer and Stand Up Comic, D'yan Forest's brings her new solo show, A Broad Abroad! to the 25th Annual Orlando Fringe Festival. The cabaret show recently premiered at the 10th Annual New York FRIGID Festival where it received rave reviews and played to packed houses.

Favorite guest Frank Langella returns to THEATER TALK to discuss his spellbinding, critically acclaimed performance as André, a man in the early-to-mid-stages of dementia, in the Manhattan Theatre Club production of Florian Zeller's The Father, directed by Doug Hughes.  Revealing that he's “never been so frightened of a part…we're all frightened of this; it terrifies; there's no way back from this disease,” he also tells co-hosts Michael Riedel of the New York Post and Susan Haskins that his brother is in the early stages of the disorder.

Mame, starring stage icon Angela Lansbury opened on Broadway 50 years ago this year - and in celebration, members of the company, including Lansbury, will gather for a 50th Anniversary Celebration at Sardi's on May 26. Other cast appearances have yet to be confirmed.

Paper Mill Playhouse has announced complete casting for Arthur Laurents, Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim's classic musical West Side Story, directed by Paper Mill Playhouse's Producing Artistic Director Mark S. Hoebee and Jerome Robbins' original choreography recreated by Alex Sanchez. West Side Story is based on a conception by Jerome Robbins and features a book by Arthur Laurents, music by Leonard Bernstein and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.

TMD PRODUCTIONS will present the World Premiere of ELECTRICITY, written by Terry Ray, produced by Michael Darner and directed by Steven Rosenbaum.  ELECTRICITY will preview on Thursday, April 21 at 8pm; will open on Friday, April 22 at 8pm and run through Sunday, May 22 at the Two Roads Theatre, 4348 Tujunga Blvd. in Studio City.
