Tony Award-nominee Robert Cuccioli (Jekyll & Hyde, Jacques Brel…) made a special guest appearance as Ravenal in Broadway Ala Carte's Benefit presentation of the classic musical hit, Show Boat, on Sunday, October 21 at 2 PM, at the Rosen Theatre at the Y, New Jersey; with Gay Willis.

Broadway by the Bay launches its 42nd year of presenting full-scale musicals at family-friendly prices with Jerome Kern's and Oscar Hammerstein II's groundbreaking masterpiece 'Show Boat' beginning April 5, opening April 7, with performances at the San Mateo Performing Arts Center through April 22.

- MANHATTAN THEATRE CLUB (Lynne Meadow, Artistic Director; Barry Grove, Executive Producer) has announced the lineup for the 35th anniversary season of its famed 'WRITERS IN PERFORMANCE' (WIP) literary series. Under the direction of Steve Lawson, WIP's eclectic five-event program will celebrate the best in drama, literature and song with tributes to Tennessee Williams, Kurt Weill, Cervantes' Don Quixote, George S. Kaufman and an appearance by opera great (and first-time author) Renee Fleming.
