JIM CARUSO'S CAST PARTY will return to Los Angeles for two nights, Wednesday and Thursday, February 29 & March 1, 2012. The 'extreme open mic' will take place at The Coterie, Hollywood's newest supper club, located at The Renaissance Hollywood Hotel & Spa (1755 North Highland Avenue, Hollywood).

The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County announced MIAMI MADE FESTIVAL 2012 - WHEN THE SUN GOES DOWN, the Center's 4th annual showcase of innovative new work created by artists living in Miami and inspired by Miami. Taking place from March 1 - 4 in the Carnival Studio Theater, MIAMI MADE FESTIVAL 2012 will feature the work of 10 artists representing the incredible breadth of work emanating from Miami's ever-evolving artistic scene, including five new interdisciplinary theatrical performances (two of them world premieres!). The 2012 installment of MIAMI MADE FESTIVAL has also expanded to include more genres of the performing arts - with the inclusion, for the first time, of live concerts showcasing new music throughout the weekend and a photo exhibition.

In 1985, three former teen idols-all from the same Philadelphia neighborhood-teamed for a concert titled The Golden Boys, which not only satisfied fans from their teen era by performing their hits, but illustrated that good singing and stage presence never go out of style. Frankie Avalon, Fabian & Bobby Rydell, "The Golden Boys" from American Bandstand's heyday, have appeared together on such major TV specials as "The American Music Awards," the closing ceremonies of the "Miss Liberty Special" (viewed by over 200 million people) and the ABC Inaugural special "Command Performance: An All-Star Salute To The President."

The Sandra Feinstein-Gamm Theatre (The Gamm) will present Boom, described as 'an explosive, highly acclaimed comedy by rising American playwright Peter Sinn Nachtrieb. Gamm Resident Director Fred Sullivan, Jr., directs this delightfully warped and ultimately hopeful view of the apocalypse through the eyes of a marine biology grad student as he prepares for the end of the world. Developed in Rhode Island at Brown/Trinity Playwright's Rep, Boom was America's most produced play of 2009-2010, according to Theatre Communications Group.'

Trinity Rep Now Enrolling For Young Actors Summer Institute

Trinity Rep's Education Department will once again provide students the opportunity to spend the summer exploring a world of creativity and theater under the instruction of Rhode Island's most knowledgeable theater professionals. Enrollment is now open for both the Young Actors Summer Institute (YASI), which offers classes for grades 5-12 and for YASI Jr., a week-long program for grades 1-4. The YASI class for grades 8-9 is at capacity, but interested students can be placed on a wait list. Additionally, spaces are still available for the Young Actors Studio and Lifelong Learning spring sessions, which include classes for grades 4-12, as well as selections for adult actors and theater enthusiasts.
