Know Theatre of Cincinnati is pleased to announce its third production of the season, Adding Machine: A Musical, with original music by Joshua Schmidt and libretto by Jason Loewith & Joshua Schmidt based on the play The Adding Machine by Elmer Rice. Adding Machine: A Musical will open on Know Theatre's mainstage February 13 and play through March 6, 2010. Michael Burnham will direct the production and Alan Patrick Kenny is the Musical Director. PLEASE NOTE: the dates have changed from the original production announcement. The opening has been pushed back one week from February 6 to February 13, 2010.

The 55th Annual Drama Desk Awards Ceremony will take place on May 23rd this year at a to-be-announced location. The awards will honor excellence in theatre for the 2009-2010 season. The nominations will be announced on May 3rd at the New York Friars Club in Manhattan. Emcees have yet to be determined.

Academy Award-winner Philip Seymour Hoffman will take part in a moderated conversation discussing his film and theater career with Orlando Shakespeare Theatre's artistic director, Jim Helsinger on April 10. The event will take place during PlayFest! The Harriett Lake Festival of New Plays which runs from April 2 to 11, 2010.

The Curiouser Group is proud to present The Gilded, an original musical written and directed by Reynaldi Lolong, as part of the 2010 Thick House Presenting Series. The Gilded previews February 18, and runs through March 7. Opening is Friday February 19.

The third show in the Pumpkin Theatre's 'Season of Imagination' follows familiar children's character Winnie the Pooh in A WINNIE-THE-POOH BIRTHDAY TAIL. Performances for the show begin February 13th at 1:00pm and 3:00pm. Performances continue February 14th, 20th and 21st also at 1:00 and 3:00pm.
