The Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation, The Muny, and the Fabulous Fox Theatre are pleased to announce the nominees for the third St. Louis High School Musical Theatre Awards to be held on Sunday, June 2 at 4 p.m. at the Fabulous Fox Theatre. The nominees were announced today and will be presented with a commemorative medallion at a ceremony hosted at the Fabulous Fox Theatre on Monday, May 6.
Fifth grade theatrical students in the Hazelwood school district, arts education students with severe developmental disabilities at Boonslick State School, and nearly 400 musical students from Keeven Elementary School, are just a few of those who will benefit from the $30,000 in grants awarded to 11 arts education projects funded by the Maritz Arts and Education Fund for Teachers, it was announced today by the Arts and Education Council.

These same students will meet Dreamgirls star Jennifer Holliday and her cast mates backstage prior to The Muny's performance.
