La MaMa will honor film producer Joy Tomchin for her activism on behalf of the LGBTQ communities; Donn Russell for his commitment to and support of nontraditional theatre; and Roberta Uno for her leadership in philanthropy and cultural diversity at the annual La MaMa Gala on Monday, November 2nd at La MaMa's Ellen Stewart Theatre (66 E. 4 St.), it has been announced by Mia Yoo, the theater company's Artistic Director.

On Monday, June 1, HERE honors Mary McCormick, President of the Fund for the City of New York, and Donn Russell, Director of The Peg Santvoord Foundation, at its annual gala. The gala, entitled FutureCity, begins at 6:00pm with the Taste of Tomorrow Dinner at City Winery (155 Varick Street) featuring VIP Cocktail Reception, dinner, performances and live & silent auctions, and continues with The HEREafter Party, beginning at 8:30pm at HERE (145 Sixth Avenue), with cocktails, hors d'Oeuvres, silent auction, performances and dancing.
Innovative Theatre Foundation Receives $200,000 Endowment

At a special event on Monday evening The Innovative Theatre Foundation (IT Foundation), the organization dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced that they are receiving a major endowment of $200,000 from philanthropist Donn Russell.
