Disney Theatrical Productions and DPAC announced today that tickets for the long-awaited return engagement of Disney's THE LION KING will go on sale to the public on Saturday, November 21 at 10 a.m.

IN THE HEIGHTS' Jade Ewen and HERE LIES LOVE's Dean John-Wilson could be singing 'A Whole New World' on the magic carpet when it flies across the pond for ALADDIN's West End debut next summer.

Casting has been announced for the Fort Lauderdale engagement of Disney's NEWSIES. The Tony Award-winning production will begin performances at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts on Tuesday, November 17 for a limited engagement through Sunday, November 29, 2015.

The musical plays at the Bristol Hippodrome from Thursday 29 October, before flying on to Dublin, Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Southampton, Norwich, Plymouth and Newcastle throughout 2015/16.

THE LION KING will be featured on the hit CBS drama, CODE BLACK, starring Marcia Gay Harden, in an episode to air Wednesday, Nov. 25 (10:00 - 11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The episode features Alton Fitzgerald White, who played a record-breaking 4,000 performances as 'Mufasa' in The Lion King, as well as eight members of The Lion King North American Tour. Aladdin, Jasmine, Genie and the gang will experience a 'whole new world' when they travel across the ocean next year! BroadwayWorld has just learned that Disney's Tony Award-winning new musical Aladdin will kick off its West End premiere on Thursday June 9, 2016 at the Prince Edward Theatre, with previews from Friday, May 27. Broadway cast member Trevor Dion Nicholas will also be making his London stage debut as Genie.

Disney Theatrical Productions welcomes six new principal cast members to the North American tour of Disney's NEWSIES: Joey Barreiro as 'Jack Kelly,' Morgan Keene as 'Katherine,' Aisha de Haas as 'Medda Larkin,' Stephen Michael Langton as 'Davey' and John Michael Pitera and Ethan Steiner alternating the role of 'Les.' These new cast members, aside from Pitera, will begin performances at The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts in Hartford tonight, October 13.
