George Street Playhouse is excited to announce the Award-Winning cast of Joe DiPietro's The Second Mrs. Wilson, to run at the New Brunswick theatre November 10-29.
George Street Playhouse announced today that Edie Falco, an Emmy Award winner for her leading roles in The Sopranos and Nurse Jackie, and Grant Shaud, well known to TV audiences from his role of Miles Silverman on Murphy Brown, will perform a special reading of Matt Hoverman's new play, Thrillsville, directed by Michael Mastro, at the New Brunswick theatre on Thursday, November 19, 2015, at 7 pm. Proceeds of the one-night-only performance will benefit George Street Playhouse.

George Street Playhouse Artistic Director David Saint has announced the slate of plays scheduled for the New Brunswick theatre's 2015-2016 season. George Street's 42nd Season consists of a slate of four plays ranging from Mysterious Musical Comedy Mayhem to Sex With Strangers.
Buoyed by the continued success of its eight-year-old program that began with their production of John Patrick Shanley's Doubt in 2007, George Street Playhouse is once again offering a special package for book clubs. This season, the Playhouse is offering two selections: Joe DiPietro's historical drama The Second Mrs. Wilson, onstage November 10-29, and Aaron Posner's tale of a young Jewish artist discovering himself and his talent, My Name is Asher Lev, on stage April 12 - May 1.
