Pittsburgh CLO is proud to open the 2018 Summer Season with the Pittsburgh premiere of Broadway sensation, ON YOUR FEET!, June 12-17 at the Benedum Center. Pittsburgh CLO remains steadfastly dedicated to the creation of new work, and co-produced the Broadway production of ON YOUR FEET! as part of this ongoing commitment. Pittsburgh CLO has brought over 20 new shows to their "Feet" on the Broadway stage, including the recent productions of An American in Paris, Kinky Boots, Matilda The Musical and many others.

Three-time Tony Award nominee and Laurence Olivier Award winner Andy Karl will star as 'Edward Lewis' in PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL on Broadway. Karl will assume the role from Steve Kazee who departs the production for family reasons.

The box office for PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL will open Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at 10am (EST). PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL has original music and lyrics by Grammy Award winner Bryan Adams and his longtime songwriting partner Jim Vallance, a book by Garry Marshall and the film's screenwriter J.F. Lawton, direction and choreography by two-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell, and begins Broadway performances Friday, July 20, 2018, at the Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street), with an official opening night of Thursday, August 16, 2018.

Broadway In Chicago is thrilled to announce the 2019 National Tour of the Lincoln Center Theater Broadway Production of FALSETTOS, William Finn and James Lapine's groundbreaking, Tony Award-winning musical, will play Broadway In Chicago's Oriental Theatre (24 W. Randolph) for a limited engagement May 28 - June 9, 2019.  This production was nominated for five Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival when it returned to Broadway in Fall 2016. FALSETTOS will be part of Broadway In Chicago's upcoming season. Paper Mill Playhouse will host an online contest to promote their production of Half Time, the new musical about not acting your age. "Generations," The Half Time Dance Contest is a social contest where participants will film a video of multiple generations of their family dancing to whatever music moves them.

Even though Sheldon Harnick was playing the violin in his High School's Gilbert & Sullivan productions… 'I could still hear the lyrics', he wrote in his alumni magazine of Northwestern University. Harnick continued, 'At that time I was turned on by the patter songs, so I began to familiarize myself with Gilbert and Sullivan. I was more fascinated by the virtuosity than anything else. Little by little, I also realized what a fine poet Gilbert was and how imaginative he was, even in the slower songs. So he became an enormous influence.'
