City Theatre presents the World Premiere of South Side Stories, a vibrant, hometown adventure written and performed by Tami Dixon. Directed by Matt M. Morrow, South Side Stories runs from tonight, November 10 to December 16, 2012 in City Theatre's Hamburg Studio Theatre, with an Opening Night performance on Friday, November 16 at 8pm.

Following the success of their season opener, a remount of the critically acclaimed production The War of the Worlds, Art of Time Ensemble curates another unique musical experience just in time for the holidays, bringing a 25-piece big band to life. The Big Band Show runs from November 30 to December 1.

The Louis Armstrong House Museum Gala will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at the Manhattan Penthouse, 80 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY 10011. The cocktail hour begins at 6:00 pm; dinner and the awards ceremony follow at 7:15 pm featuring a special performance by David Ostwald's Louis Armstrong Centennial Band. Business attire is welcome.

ROCKIN' WITH THE AGES & THE PINK LADY have announced that their smash-hit, critically acclaimed, World Premiere production of THE BEAT GOES ON! The Delaware Theatre Company presents The Outgoing Tide (www.OutgoingTidePlay.com) a new American play by Bruce Graham (nominee of two Drama Desk Awards and The Rosenthal Prize for Coyote on a Fence at Urban Stages, Something Intangible, Any Given Monday) and directed by Bud Martin (Any Given Monday, Respect). The Outgoing Tide begins performances on November 7th and plays a limited engagement through December 16th at 59E59 Theaters, Theater A. Opening night is set for November 20th.
