Guitar legend Steve Hunter, best known for his work with Alice Cooper, Lou Reed, Peter Gabriel, David Lee Roth, Jack Bruce and Aerosmith, has a new CD released, 'The Manhattan Blues Project'

Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Gregg Rolie, best known for his vocals and keyboard work with legendary music groups Santana and Journey, will be performing at 'Sandstock' Virginia Beach Music Festival on June 22, 2013.

A certain generation (namely, my own) is going to really get a kick out of ROCK OF AGES. Those younger than me will still be amused by its wildly over the top antics, but those that are older may be a bit befuddled by the constant barrage of cultural references from the late 1980's, and probably have no familiarity at all with most of the music that's from that era. I think ROCK OF AGES is a gloriously hilarious and completely ridiculous homage to the big hair, hard rock anthem bands that ruled MTV and the radio at that time. This was cruising music when I was in my late teens and early twenties, so I instantly identified with the attitudes presented, and the music that accompanies each melodramatic moment.

ROCK OF AGES is currently in previews at London's Shaftsbury Theatre, led by Justin Lee Collins, Shayne Ward, Amy Pemberton, Oliver Tompsett and Simon Lipkin. The production officially opened on September 27. The cast is rounded out by: Ja'Keith Gill, Rohan Tickell, Jodie Jacobs, Sandy Moffat Nathan Amzi, Natalie Andreou, Grant Anthony, Carly Mercedes Dyer, Cordelia Farnworth, Ian McIntosh, Twinnie-Lee Moore, Jamie Muscato, Andrew Spillett, Zizi Strallen, Amy Thornton and Dylan Turner.

Lionsgate (NYSE:LGF), the leading independent filmed entertainment studio and Twisted Pictures announced today that many of the top rock musicians were enlisted to record music for the Repo! The Genetic Opera soundtrack. Principal photography for the film was completed last month in Toronto, Canada. The film was stars Paul Sorvino, Paris Hilton, Alexa Vega, Anthony Head, Bill Moseley, Sarah Brightman and Kevin Ogilvie.
