The 'Dora the Explorer Live!' shows have grossed more than $85 million in sales worldwide, traveled to more than 255 markets across North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, Southeast Asia and have been seen by 2.7 million kids and parents.

It was announced today that MEMPHIS, a new musical about the birth of rock 'n' roll in the turbulent 50s which recently played a critically acclaimed and sold-out engagement at Seattle?s 5th Avenue Theatre, is aiming to open on Broadway in the fall of 2009. Based on a concept by George W. George (producer of the Tony nominated Bedroom Farce & film: My Dinner With Andre), MEMPHIS features a book & lyrics by Joe DiPietro (I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change), and music & lyrics by Bon Jovi founding member David Bryan, in his Broadway debut. The new musical is directed by Tony nominee Christopher Ashley (Xanadu) and choreographed by Sergio Trujillo (Jersey Boys).

Marin Ireland, Steven Pasquale, Piper Perabo and Thomas Sadoski comprise the four-person cast of this season's production of Neil LaBute's new play, reasons to be pretty, under the direction of Terry Kinney. On the first day of rehearsals, Tuesday, February 17th, the production held a meet-and-greet reception with the cast and creative team of MCC Theater's reasons to be pretty, which will mark LaBute's Broadway debut. UK Theatre website WhatsOnStage.com has revealed that producer David Ian tipped off his plans to bring the popular former Broadway, now US Touring musical, Xanadu to the UK. Speaking on Radio Five Live, Ian hinted that a UK transfer will be 'coming to a stage near you in August' - by which WhatsOnStage assumes is the West End.

The Las Vegas Review Journal is reporting that 'Drowsy Chaperone' Tony winner Bob Martin is working with Las Vegas titan Steve Wynn in developing a treatment for a new musical based on the music of the Bee Gees. Martin is currently working as the book writer on the LA bound Charles Strouse musical MINSKY'S which opens February 6, 2009, at Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre and continues through March 1 (previews begin January 21).

Terry Kinney will direct Mr. LaBute's Broadway debut. The show will go into rehearsals on Friday, February 16, 2009 with preview performances slated to begin Friday, March 6 2009 and an opening night scheduled for Thursday, April 2, 2009.
