Legendary performer Diana Ross, Smash star Megan Hilty, chart-topping recording star Demi Lovato, The Voice favorite Chris Mann and American Idol winner Scotty McCreery are set to ring in the holiday season as they come together in the nation's capital for TNT's annual CHRISTMAS IN WASHINGTON special. In addition, the concert will close with a special performance by 'Gangnam Style' sensation PSY.

MEMPHIS, the 2010 Tony Award® winner for Best Musical, will play at Omaha's Orpheum Theater Tuesday, January 15 through Sunday, January 20, 2013 as part of the Omaha Performing Arts Broadway series.

While on the road, Memphis cast members Jill Morrison and Christopher Gurr recorded the classic favorite Christmas song, 'Santa Baby,' with Jill singing lead vocals and Christopher playing ukelele and adding backup vocals. La Jolla Playhouse announces a new play development initiative, the DNA New Work Series, entailing a six-week period of workshop productions and public readings of new plays and musicals, taking place January 24 through March 3, 2013. The focus of the DNA New Work Series is to allow playwrights and directors the opportunity to develop a script by providing rehearsal time, space and resources, culminating in a workshop production or public reading.

The audience had no trouble taking the advice of Tony Award-winning musical "Memphis" in its final moments Tuesday night at the Sacramento Community Center. In a high-spirited finale, the cast sang, "Listen to the beat. Play it, obey it. Love it with your feet. Listen to your soul… let it make you whole." The lyrics embody three hours of soulful music, standout humor, and endearing characters that deliver a wonderful time for audiences.
