New York Philharmonic presents L'HISTOIRE DU SOLDAT, Sunday, May 2, 2010, at 3:00 p.m. The performance is part of The Russian Stravinsky: A Philharmonic Festival conducted by Valery Gergiev, which runs from April 21 to May 8. Matt Cavenaugh, who recently appeared on Broadway as Tony in the revival of WEST SIDE STORY, has joined the cast of Stravinsky's L'HISTOIRE DU SOLDAT (A SOLDIERS TALE) as The Soldier, appearing with fellow Arkansas native Daniel Davis (Niles in 'The Nanny') as The Devil, and Philharmonic radio host, Alec Baldwin as The Narrator.
