By The Water, the new play by Sharyn Rothstein, directed by Hal Brooks begins rehearsals today. The limited engagement of By The Water will begin previews on Tuesday, November 4 and open Tuesday, November 18 as part of The Studio at Stage II - Harold and Mimi Steinberg New Play Series at New York City Center - Stage II (131 West 55th Street).

42nd Street Moon kicks off its 22nd season with the rarely seen Richard Rodgers-Stephen Sondheim-Arthur Laurents collaboration DO I HEAR A WALTZ?, starring Broadway's Tony nominee Emily Skinner (Side Show, The Full Monty, Billy Elliot). Based on Arthur Laurents' 1952 play The Time of the Cuckoo, which inspired the Katharine Hepburn movie Summertime, the wistful story follows a lonely American tourist as she finds romance under the enchantment of mid-1960s Venice. Good Enough comes to NYC's Theatre Row for a second performance tonight, October 7. Written and performed by Broadway actor Matthew LaBanca, and directed by Kira Simring, Good Enough is the current Bestseller in the United Solo Theatre Festival.

Dame Angela Lansbury tonight receives the 2014 Rolex Dance Award from the Career Tranisition for Dancers', during their 29th Anniversary Jubilee tonight.

Arden best known for starring on Broadway in Bob Dylan and Twyla Tharp's musical The Times They Are A-Changin.' Additional Broadway credits include the Roundabout Theatre Company's presentation of the Deaf West Theatre sign-language production of Big River. Other credits include Ace, Swimming in the Shallows, Bare, Harold & Maude and It's Only Life Off-Broadway. Arden also joined Barbra Streisand during her world concert tour and appeared in the City Center Encores! staging of Juno.
