Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) will present Bertolt Brecht's Galileo, December 3 - 12 in the Harriet S. Jorgensen Theatre on the Storrs campus. CRT is also sponsoring a free series of lectures and discussions as part of its "Uncommon Sense" Series. For tickets to Galileo, call 860-486-4226.

In celebration of over ten years of creating holiday musicals specifically written with multigenerational appeal, one of Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati's (ETC) most popular family-friendly holiday productions, SLEEPING BEAUTY by Joseph McDonough and David Kisor, returns December 2 through January 3 and is directed by D. Lynn Meyers. In the tradition of ETC's 'fractured fairytale' holiday productions, SLEEPING BEAUTY is a modern spin on the classic fairytale, and features Briar Rose, her overprotective parents, a rock n' roll prince, and three wacky fairies (and an evil one!).

The annual holiday musical, directed by Benjamin Endsley Klein with book and lyrics by Timothy Mason and music by Mel Marvin, will run in the Old Globe Theatre November 21 - December 27. Previews run from Nov. 21 - Nov. 26. Opening night is Nov. 27 at 7:00 p.m.

Jessica Hecht, Michael Cristofer, Santino Fontana and Corey Stoll are set to join the cast of Arthur Miller's A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE directed by Gregory Mosher on Broadway at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street).

The Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park has finalized casting for its upcoming production of THREE SISTERS. This exciting new version, commissioned by the Playhouse, combines John Doyle, the Tony Award-winning director of Company, and Sarah Ruhl, one of America's most acclaimed young playwrights. THREE SISTERS, a poignant tale of love and dreams and the never-ending pursuit of happiness, begins previews in the Playhouse's Robert S. Marx Theatre October 24 and continues through November 21.

Following enthusiastic reviews, The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Andrew D. Hamingson) will extend THE BROTHER/SISTER PLAYS, written by Tarell Alvin McCraney and directed by Tina Landau and Robert O'Hara, through Sunday, December 20. THE BROTHER/SISTER PLAYS began previews October 21 and was originally scheduled to close on Sunday, December 13.
