A CABLE FROM GIBRALTAR, the unusual new comedy by Daniel Meltzer about the intersecting lives of two couples over a lifetime, their good fortune and bad choices, literally from cradle to creeping decrepitude, will play its final show on February 28 at the Medicine Show Theatre.

As plans take shape for the restoration and renewal of Music Hall, Greater Cincinnati's historic performing arts center and community gathering space, the Music Hall Working Group (MHWG) announced today the creation of the Music Hall Revitalization Corporation (MHRC), a new organization that will assume leadership of the project.

Music Director Rob Berman. The benefit will help fund New York City Center's artistic and education programs. In addition, a portion of the evening's proceeds will go to Young Playwrights Inc, a charity of great importance to Mr. Sondheim.

Asolo Rep announces additional casting for award-winning Managing Maxine, Janece Shaffer's new play that takes a straight forward look at sex, love and life after 70. The cast features Howard Elfman as Louis, the role he originated last season in the world premiere of Managing Maxine at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta.

The Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park will continue its Marx Theatre season with the world premiere of DADDY LONG LEGS by John Caird, the Tony Award-winning co-director of Les Miserables and Tony-nominated composer Paul Gordon, the creator of last season's enchanting musical Emma. Spurred by critical acclaim and audience demand, Magic Theatre, San Francisco's home for new plays, has extended the run of Oedipus el Rey for an additional two weeks. This world premiere penned by MacArthur genius Luis Alfaro and directed by Loretta Greco must close Sunday, March 14th.

Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced the cast and creative team for the World Premiere of Kenny Finkle's romantic comedy, Alive and Well. Directed by Jeremy Dobrish, Alive and Well will run in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre March 20 - April 25.
