Broadway In Chicago just announced the world premiere of AMAZING GRACE, a new musical starring Tony Award nominee® Josh Young (Jesus Christ Superstar) as John Newton, directed by Gabriel Barre (Andrew Lippas' The Wild Party) and choreographed by Tony Award® winner Christopher Gattelli (Newsies), will play the Bank of America Theatre (18 W Monroe) this fall. With music and lyrics by Christopher Smith and a book by Christopher Smith andArthur Giron, AMAZING GRACE begins performances October 9 and runs through November 2.

St. Dunstan's Theatre Guild of Cranbrook is one of the oldest extant community theatres around and has been performing in its current theater since 1932. The CW Network has acquired LABYRINTH, the four-hour event miniseries with a multi-national and award-winning cast, including John Hurt, Sebastian Stan, Jessica Brown-Findlay & Tom Felton, it was announced today by Mark Pedowitz, President, The CW. On Saturday, January 18 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, January 19 at 3:00 p.m., in Zankel Hall, the critically acclaimed Takacs Quartet performs a complete Bartok string quartet cycle-a musical touchstone of the 20th century, composed over a span of three decades. On January 18, Takacs Quartet presents quartets numbers 1, 3, and 5, followed by numbers 2, 4, and 6 on January 19, showcasing the development of the prolific composer's compositional style throughout the years.

According to Variety, Tony winner Eddie Redmayne is in negotiations to star alongside Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis in 'Jupiter Ascending.' The sci-fi movie is 'set in a time where humans are at the bottom of the evolutionary ladder and follows a woman who has been targeted for assassination by the queen of the universe.'
