First Folio Theatre (Mayslake Peabody Estate, 31st St. & Rt. 83) presents the witty comedy JEEVES TAKES A BOW, previewing January 30; opening Saturday, February 2 at 8 p.m.; and running through March 3. Directed by Jeff Award nominee Alison C. Vesely (First Folio's A Moon for the Misbegotten), the cast of First Folio's 2009 production Jeeves in Bloom will reprise their roles in JEEVES TAKES A BOW, starring Jim McCance as "Jeeves" and Christian Gray (The Madness of Edgar Allan Poe and Romeo & Juliet at First Folio Theatre, The Glass Menagerie at Oak Park Festival Theatre) as "Bertie."

Following its critically acclaimed success Hot 'N' Throbbing, Interrobang Theatre Project continues its third season with SPEAKING IN TONGUES by Australian playwright Andrew Bovell, directed by Artistic Director Jeffry Stanton, playing February 21 - March 24, 2013 at Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont Ave. in Chicago. The production features Meg Elliott, Joe Flynn, Jenny Lamb and Neal Starbird. Tickets for SPEAKING IN TONGUES are available at www.theaterwit.org/boxoffice. The Redtwist Theatre will present Purple Heart by Bruce Norris from tonight, December 22 from January 27. In this twisted, dark comedy, company member, KC Karen Hill, and guest artist, Kathleen Ruhl, engage in ferocious battle as grieving Carla, and nitpicky mother-in-law, Grace. Clay Sanderson as mystery man, Purdy, and Nicky Roget-King as Carla's son, Thor, are the needy men who complicate her teetering world.

Thatcher most recently appeared as Terri in Jeffrey Sweet's new play Immoral Imperatives. Prior to that, she appeared in First Folio Theatre's production of Macbeth. Other credits include 'Hannah Jarvis' in Tom Stoppard's Arcadia at the Goodman Theatre, 'Candida' in George Bernard Shaw's Candida at Writers' Theatre, and 'Regan' in King Lear and 'Kate' in Taming of the Shrew at Chicago Shakespeare Theater.
