Michael Lindall is the face of London's latest Jay Gatsby as Ruby in the Dust's acclaimed stage version of the American literature classic The Great Gatsby returns to the London stage the very same week as Baz Luhrmann's Gatsby Hollywood movie opens in the UK. Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, opened the 66th Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday May 15, and Ruby in the Dust's acclaimed stage production will return for a further London season at Riverside Studios tonight.

New York Live Arts announces the 2013 Theater Access Program - a comprehensive rental program that provides performance space and resources to a diverse group of self-producing artists of all disciplines. This year's artists include (in order of appearance) 10 Hairy Legs, Ellen Robbins, NuMoRune Collaborative, Makeda Thomas, Elisa Monte Dance and Jennifer Muller/The Works, Amanda Selwyn Dance Theatre and Joseph Mills for Modern American Dance Company.

Gavin Lee and Kristen Beth Williams are leading the new cast of the West End hit musical Top Hat as Jerry Travers and Dale Tremont. They are joined by Olivier award nominee Alex Gaumond as Alberto Beddini and Clive Hayward as Horace Hardwick, with Vivien Parry (Madge) and Stephen Boswell (Bates) continuing in the production. It's been a helluva year for theater in the Seattle area. From the triumphant return of the Intiman with their summer festival to the hugely popular run of "Spring Awakening" from Balagan Theatre Seattle audiences were treated with some amazing shows and performances this past year. And so, allow me to shine the spotlight on some of my favorite outstanding moments from the past year with my 2012 BWW Seattle Critic's Choice Awards.

Over 180,000 new tickets are released for public sale today (10 September 2012) as Top Hat at the Aldwych Theatre extends its booking period to 28 September 2013. Seventy seven years after its movie release, Matthew White's production arrived in the West End earlier this year having completed a 20 week sell-out UK tour.
