Helen Mirren will lend her voice to an upcoming episode of FOX's GLEE, according to TVLine.com. Their source commented: "Helen came in and secretly recorded several long and hilarious monologues two weeks ago. Then she visited the kids on set, and they had no idea she was coming; they were stunned."

Broadway-bound Ricky Martin has closed a deal to appear in GLEE's McKinley High, according to TVLine. Martin will play 'the hottest Spanish teacher ever in the history of Ohio' early next year.

Melanie Frankel joins USA Network as vice president, original comedy series, it was announced today by Bill McGoldrick, senior vice president, USA original scripted programming. Frankel will focus on comedy development and production, reporting directly to McGoldrick.

Feinstein's at Loews Regency is closing their Fall 2011 season with the return engagement of the club's founder Michael Feinstein and Tony Award winning Broadway legend Barbara Cook from through December 30. To celebrate Barbara Cook's 2011 Kennedy Center Honor, the club is rolling back prices to when the club opened in 1999 for the month of December: $60 cover and no minimum.
