Rehearsals begin on Monday, February 28th for Matthew Lombardo's new play HIGH, directed by Rob Ruggiero, starring two-time Golden Globe® winner, Academy Award® & Tony Award® nominee Kathleen Turner as "Sister Jamison Connelly", Tony Award® nominee Stephen Kunken (Enron) as "Father Michael Delpapp" and Evan Jonigkeit making his Broadway debut as "Cody Randall".

HIGH Heads to Broadway's Booth with Turner; Previews 3/25, Opens 4/19

Producers Leonard Soloway, Chase Mishkin, Terry Schnuck, Ann Cady Scott, Timothy J. Hampton, James & Catherine Berges, The Shubert Organization and The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis announce two-time Golden Globe® winner, Academy Award® & Tony Award® nominee Kathleen Turner will return to Broadway this spring in Matthew Lombardo's new play HIGH, directed by Rob Ruggiero. HIGH will begin previews on Friday, March 25 and open officially on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at the Booth Theatre (222 West 45th Street).

MEMPHIS to be Filmed Live for Nationwide Digital Cinema Distribution!

The 2010 Tony Award® winning Best Musical MEMPHIS will be captured live-in-performance by Broadway Worldwide for high definition exhibition in digital cinemas nationwide this spring. For the first time ever, audiences around the country will be able to experience Broadway's current Tony Award® winning Best Musical in their own home town movie theatre during its Tony Award®-winning year. The Broadway production of MEMPHIS will be captured live during regularly scheduled performances January 18-21st at the Shubert Theatre, utilizing multiple high definition cameras and 96 tracks of sound recording.

Today we are talking to one of the top-tier talents in her field of producing theatre for television, the estimable Ellen Krass who is largely responsible for many of the greatest television captures of theatrical events in the last thirty years, starting with the filming of SWEENEY TODD and continuing with FOLLIES: IN CONCERT in the early 1980s, through to SWEENEY TODD: IN CONCERT, CANDIDE: IN CONCERT, COMPANY and last year's CYRANO starring Kevin Kline and Jennifer Garner. Tonight marks the PBS debut of SONHDEIM!
