Friends including Jerry Mitchell, Billy Porter, Roger Rees, Rick Elice, William Ivey Long, Lawrence O'Keefe, Nell Benjamin, Marc Shaiman, Charlotte St. Martin, Charlotte Wilcox, Orfeh, Ted Chapin and more came to celebrate the special event, and BroadwayWorld brings you phtoos from the festivities below!

In addition, we wanted them to be interviewed by someone with whom they shared some sort of history. Next up in the special series is President & CEO of The Actors Fund, Joe Benincasa. It's Tonys week! On Sunday night, the stars will align at Radio City Music Hall to celebrate the best of Broadway. One of the final events before the ceremony, the Tony Honors Cocktail Party was held last night at the Paramount Hotel's Diamond Horseshoe to celebrate the 2014 honorees: Joe Benincasa (President & CEO of The Actors Fund), Joan Marcus (Broadway photographer), and Charlotte Wilcox (general manager). BroadwayWorld was on the red carpet to chat with the stars one last time before the big night, and below, you can find out what they'll be wearing, how they are preparing for Sunday and more!

Just last night, the Tony Honors for Excellence in the Theatre were handed out at the Tony Honors Cocktail Party, a private cocktail reception at the Paramount Hotel's Diamond Horseshoe. The Tony Honors for Excellence in the Theatre were established in 1990 and are awarded annually to institutions, individuals and/or organizations that have demonstrated extraordinary achievement in theatre, but are not eligible in any of the established Tony Award categories. This year's Tony Honors will be presented to Joe Benincasa (President & CEO of The Actors Fund), Joan Marcus (Broadway photographer), and Charlotte Wilcox (general manager). The Tony Awards Administration Committee has announced this year's recipients of 2014 Tony Honors for Excellence in the Theatre. These honors will be presented at the Tony Honors Cocktail Party, a private cocktail reception, on Monday, June 2nd at the Paramount Hotel's Diamond Horseshoe. The 2014 Tony Awards will be broadcast live on Sunday, June 8th on CBS, and are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.

Bucks County Playhouse has announced today that the Playhouse has selected Alexander Fraser and Robyn Goodman to assume the leadership roles of Producing Director and Executive Producer, respectively. They will be replacing outgoing Producing Director Jed Bernstein, who announced earlier this year he will be joining Lincoln Center For The Performing Arts as its next President. Fraser and Goodman will begin their duties at the Playhouse in January of 2014.

Tonight, September 24, 2013, The Broadway League and The Coalition of Broadway Unions and Guilds (COBUG) will present the fifth annual Broadway Salutes, a celebration -- free and open to the public - which honors the countless professionals who have made Broadway great for decades. In this industry-wide event, which will take place at the Times Square Visitor Center (1560 Broadway, between 46th and 47th Streets) in the heart of the theatre district, theater professionals will receive special recognition for having worked 25, 35, and 50 years in their respective theatrical craft. The event will begin at 3:30PM with red carpet arrivals, and the public ceremony will begin at 4:00PM.
