The Atwood Concert Hall is set to house the national tour of the Broadway hit ROCK OF AGES from tonight, May 17 to May 23.

On last night's DANCING WITH THE STAR, contestant Katherine Jenkins appeared overcome with emotion at the conclusion of her dance with partner Mark Ballas. It remained unclear if the opera star was disappointed by her performance or crying out of pain.

After last week's nerve-racking double elimination, the four remaining couples faced off in the semifinals of ABC's DANCING WITH THE STARS last night. Directed by Donna Drake and starring Edmund Bagnell; first violin, Christopher Marchant: second violin, Daniel Shevlin; cello and Trevor Wadleigh; viola, the show debuts at Joe's Pub tonight, May 1st at 7:30PM. Well-Strung was workshopped this past winter at Ars Nova and the group will be playing The Art House in Provincetown this July and August.

Producers of the five-time Tony Award nominated hit musical ROCK OF AGES have announced that Ashley Spencer (Grease, Priscilla..) will star in the leading role of Sherrie - the "small town girl" who "took the midnight train goin' anywhere" - beginning Thursday, May 10 at Broadway's Helen Hayes Theatre (220 W 44th Street). Emily Padgett, who has performed the role since November 2011, will play her final performance on Tuesday, May 1. During the interim week, the role will be covered alternately by Katie Webber and Tessa Alves.

The tracklist for the ROCK OF AGES Original Motion Picture Soundtrack has been revealed! The album's release is set for June 5, 2012, by WaterTower music.
