Carolines on Broadway, America's Premier Comedy Nightclub, announces its all-star line-up of talent for the month of December 2013, highlighted by headliners Maz Jobrani, from his stand-up special “I Come in Peace,” December 5 - 8; Damon Wayans, from FOX-TV's “In Living Color” and the sitcom “Damon,” December 12 - 15; Steve Rannazzisi, from FX's “The League and his Comedy Central special “Man Child,” December 19 - 22; and Tracy Morgan, from NBC's “30 Rock” and “Saturday Night Live,” December 26 - 29.

The Bob Woodruff Foundation and the New York Comedy Festival presented Stand Up for Heroes last night in New York City. The event, funded in part by the generosity of Veterans on Wall Street (VOWS) and supported by founding sponsor GFI Group, Inc., brought together celebrities, military, business and government leaders, service members and their families for a night of laughter and performances from A-list musicians and comedians, as well as wounded veterans, to raise funds for programs that the Bob Woodruff Foundation supports. The amount raised last night was more than $5 million -- a new record for the Stand Up for Heroes Event, now in its seventh year. The funds raised will benefit organizations across the country vetted by the Bob Woodruff Foundation for their effectiveness and success. To date, $21 million has been raised by the Stand Up for Heroes events.

This year The New York Comedy Festival (NYCF), presented in association with COMEDY CENTRAL, marks its 10th anniversary today, November 6 through Sunday, November 10. The festival will once again bring laughs to all the boroughs in New York City, and adding several new venues. The 2013 festival line-up will be announced in August, at which time tickets will also go on sale. Additional shows will be added in the fall.

The Bob Woodruff Foundation (BWF) and New York Comedy Festival (NYCF) are proud to present Stand Up for Heroes, an evening of comedy and music benefiting injured service members, veterans and their families tonight, November 6th at 8pm.

Citi previously announced that it would present a performance by iconic comedian and entertainer Jerry Seinfeld tonight, September 26 at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall, Time Warner Center in New York City. This special performance is in celebration of the new entertainment benefits of Citi's ThankYou cards, and tickets can only be purchased with a Citi ThankYou credit card. 'Citi Presents Jerry Seinfeld' is the result of a collaboration between Citi and Carolines on Broadway's live entertainment division to bring more comedy to Citi cardmembers. Carolines on Broadway is producing the event for Citi.

Singer-comedienne Elizabeth Tryon will debut her first solo comedy and vocal music show in New York City, at the legendary Caroline's on Broadway comedy club in Times Square, NY on February 19, 2013 at 7:00PM, in a one night only performance. In her show, "There's A Phantom in my Opera," a contemporary Victor Borge-style show, written and performed by a singer rather than a pianist, Tryon unites several different styles of music with comedy.

COMEDY CENTRAL is going beyond the two-drink minimum in top comedy clubs across the country with the creation of the 'COMEDY CENTRAL Certified Club' program, providing participating clubs including Carolines on Broadway with the #1 brand in comedy's certification and seal of approval, as well as many additional promotional initiatives.

More than 350 women -- leaders of industry, media, government, and the arts - gathered at The Plaza Hotel this afternoon for the Citymeals-on-Wheels 26th Annual "Power Lunch for Women." This by-invitation-only benefit, emceed by the "Good Morning America" Lifestyle Anchor Lara Spencer, raised over $1.1 million, or enough to provide more than 177,000 meals for New York's frail homebound aged.

The Bob Woodruff Foundation(BWF) and the New York Comedy Festival are proud to announce that John Mayer and Roger Waters will perform at the 6th annual Stand Up for Heroes event on Thursday, Nov. 8, at the Beacon Theatre, in addition to previously announced performers Mike Birbiglia, Ricky Gervais, Patton Oswalt, Jon Stewart, Bruce Springsteen and Robin Williams. Roger Waters will be performing with a band comprised of military veterans.
