The Concerts for City Greens, the free outdoor concert series that brings the sounds of music to the heart of Midtown, dedicates the fourth concert of this year's summer series to the singer-songwriter and actress Ann Hampton Callaway, on Wednesday September 12 at 6:30pm at Tudor City Greens.
Kate Feiffer, author of No Go Sleep!, will join Alyssa Capucilli, author of the Biscuit series, and dozens more children's book authors and illustrators at Children's Book Day, a one-day gala on Saturday, Sept. 15, devoted to children's literature. In all, more than 60 children's book authors and illustrators will take part in this 12-6 p.m. event which is filled with readings, demonstrations, magic, music, and book signings at Washington Irving's Sunnyside.
