According to Artistic Director/Producer Tony Waag, Tap Treasures Showcase "reinvestigates and revisits eight historic locations in Manhattan that contributed to the evolution of tap dance." The hour-long show was performed at The Duke on 42nd Street on Thursday, July 14, 2016.
Tap City 2016, The American Tap Dance Foundation's (ATDF) week-long tap dance festival, will return for it's 16th year to New York City July 9 to 16 with award presentations, master classes and performances by local and international artists in what has become the premiere meeting place for hundreds of American and International tap dancers to study, teach and perform.
?This July, The New Victory Theater will present its third season of Victory Dance, the theater's initiative to provide FREE dance performances to kids in New York City day camps, school and youth programs over the summer. A three-week-long series presented from July 13 - 29, 2016, Victory Dance features a cross-section of highly accomplished and internationally recognized New York companies who perform a range of movement styles from lyrical, to tap, to anime-inspired dance, and share in the theater's goal of inspiring young people to embrace the art form.

This immersive performance captures dancers in single moments in time and place performing simultaneously both in real and virtual time.
The CUNY Dance Initiative (CDI), a university-wide residency program heading into its third season, is awarding 23 dance companies/choreographers residencies at 12 CUNY colleges in 2016. CDI, led by New York City's public university system, is a new model for collaboration. By facilitating residencies for New York City choreographers and dance companies on CUNY campuses, CDI aims to support dance artists, enhance college students' cultural life and education, and build new audiences for dance at CUNY performing arts centers.

Sunday night, Westchester Broadway Theatre was proud to welcome a group of soldiers of the Marine unit stationed at Stewart Air Base in Newburgh NY and their Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Ian Wallace and Mrs. Wallace. The 27 Marines enjoyed an evening of fine dining and entertainment. Irving Berlin's White Christmas was a wonderful show for ushering in the Holiday Season.
